Marine Technology Inc is at it again as we take the Emerald Coast Poker Run by storm, which began yesterday and runs through Sunday morning. You’ll find Randy Scisim and Tom Stuart at various events and locations in Destin in the coming days. Our home base will Be Boshamps Seafood, and Oyster House on Destin Harbor. Once a year we have some fast boats show up in and around Destin for the Emerald Coast Poker Run. These guys have some impressive cruising and top speeds; I. Destin & Fort Walton Beach are set to host one of the most popular summer boating events, the Emerald Coast Poker Run, which historically raises over $150k annually to benefit youth organizations. Boat Week Festivities kick off with a Tuesday Mardi Gras boat parade, followed by parties every evening through the weekend! Destin Power Boat Poker Run
FestivalsThe 2020 Boat Week on the Emerald Coast expected to take place August 5 - 8, was canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic. Check back for information regarding the 2021 event. Hosted by the Emerald Coast Foundation, this event is one of the largest boat poker runs in the country that has been running for 25 years. The volunteer-run event is a mission to support the youth in Northwest Florida, and every penny made from the event goes straight to the foundation.
Watch fishing boats, powerboats, and more fill the waterways of Destin for this exciting event.

Destin Boat Poker Run
Emerald Coast 2020 participants got off to a great start Saturday morning as they continued to pick up Poker card#1 at Harborwalk Village in Destin Harbor. Then it was time to push the throttles for fast fun on the smooth bay waters heading eastbound to Sandestin. The 70-boat fleet featured performance cats, v-bottoms, and center consoles from all the leading manufacturers!
